This morning, Carabinieri from the Castello di Cisterna Investigative Unit executed a precautionary prison order against five individuals believed to be linked to the clan. The order was issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, which is coordinating the investigation.
According to the investigations, the clan continued to play a key role not only in Caivano but also in surrounding municipalities, imposing its criminal imprint on economic activities, extortion, and above all, drug trafficking.
