A 23-year-old man with a disability reported being sexually assaulted in the pine forest. According to his mother, the boy was approached by a Moroccan man while on the beach.
With an excuse, the attacker would have convinced him to follow him into the pine forest where, taking advantage of his vulnerable condition, he would have abused of him. Once home, the young man told his mother what had happened, and she immediately took him to the emergency medical service.
From there, he was transferred to the San Luca hospital in Battipaglia for further tests. Following the complaint, the Carabinieri promptly located the man, who, in his defense, spoke of "consensual sexual intercourse." Investigations are ongoing to verify the veracity of his allegations.
