Naples – The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, has released the results of joint inspections carried out in the Gulf of Naples between September 1st and 7th, coordinated by the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security.

The operations, conducted by the Port Authority, State Police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, and Metropolitan Police, focused on maritime safety and the fight against illegal activities. During the operations, 240 vessels and boats were inspected, with 75 fines issued for violations.

303 people were also checked, with 56 fines for violations of the Navigation Code and 2 for unsuitable driving. The operations, started at the beginning of the summer, will continue in the coming weeks with a significant deployment of forces and resources, to guarantee safety and legality in the waters of the Gulf.
