Naples – The death of Michele Noschese, a 35-year-old Neapolitan known in the music world as DJ Godzi, remains shrouded in mystery.
The artist died at dawn on July 19th in Ibiza, the island of endless nights where he had lived for years, following a dramatic intervention by the Spanish police. His death, which shocked the Italian community living in the Balearic Islands and the Neapolitan nightlife scene, is currently being investigated by two prosecutors: the Spanish one, which first initiated investigations, and the Rome one, which is responsible for legal cases involving Italian citizens abroad.
A case of manslaughter has been opened in Piazzale Clodio . The Roman magistrates have already sent a formal request for judicial cooperation to the Spanish authorities to acquire all the documentation on the incident: reports from the police who intervened, witness statements, and forensic medical records.
The heart of the investigation revolves around the circumstances of Noschese's death: he apparently died after an intervention by Spanish law enforcement, but the exact circumstances remain unclear.
The first autopsy documents have yet to arrive from Spain.

"We are awaiting the results of the second autopsy and the toxicology tests ordered by the Rome prosecutor's office to get answers about what happened," said Rossana Alvaro, the Noschese family's lawyer, who has been waiting for weeks to learn the truth.
The case thus remains suspended between two judicial fronts: on one side, Spanish investigators, who must clarify the conduct of the officers who intervened on the night of the tragedy; on the other, Italian magistrates, determined to determine whether criminal liability lies behind the young Neapolitan's death.
Meanwhile, in Naples, the news of DJ Godzi 's passing continues to spark grief and anger among friends and acquaintances: for many, he was a symbol of that generation of young people who chose Ibiza as their stage and refuge, chasing the dream of electronic music.
