Gricignano di Aversa – Carabinieri from the Gricignano di Aversa station conducted a night raid, foiling a potential robbery by arresting three criminals on Via Boscariello.
They are three men aged 27, 30 and 36, all with criminal records and from the Neapolitan neighbourhoods of Secondigliano and Scampia , reported at large.
The three, aboard a gray Fiat 500, aroused suspicion during a routine check. Upon seeing the patrol, they attempted to flee toward the highway, but the officers quickly intercepted and stopped them.
The search revealed a disturbing arsenal : gardening gloves, a neck warmer that could be used as a balaclava – which the criminals tried to get rid of – and a baseball cap with a visor, items often associated with attempted theft or robbery.
The three have been issued mandatory expulsion orders, banning them from returning to the municipality of Gricignano di Aversa.
Additionally, the 36-year-old member of the group was reported for violating the obligation to remain in the municipality of Naples, a measure ordered by the Benevento Court. The Carabinieri operation , conducted quickly and effectively, underscores the constant commitment of law enforcement to combating crime in the area, ensuring the safety of the citizens of Gricignano di Aversa.
