Salerno – From first light, a massive joint operation by the Salerno Flying Squad and the Carabinieri of the Nocera Inferiore Territorial Unit shook the Campania region and beyond.
Law enforcement is executing an order issued by the Salerno Juvenile Court, at the request of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, which orders the application of various precautionary measures against several suspects.
The charges range from mafia-style association to drug trafficking, from attempted murder to aggravated extortion, from money laundering to the illegal possession and carrying of weapons, all aggravated by mafia methods and purposes.
In addition, there are charges of criminal conspiracy for the theft, receiving, and laundering of high-powered vehicles. The operation, which spans 21 municipalities across five Italian regions, involves the deployment of over 5 police officers and Carabinieri, supported by helicopters and dog units.

At the same time, the Salerno Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza is executing an emergency seizure order, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Salerno, targeting assets held by the suspects.
These are assets whose ownership is not justified by declared income, an action aimed at attacking the economic resources of the criminal organizations involved.
