Naples – An outdoor area transformed into a private lounge, enclosed by glass walls and furnished with leather sofas. This is the illegal structure seized this morning by Naples Local Police in Piazza Muzii, in Vomero, during checks to combat illegal occupation of public land.
The operation, carried out by officers from the neighborhood's Operations Unit, led to the discovery of a metal and plexiglass structure measuring over 30 square meters, built without any building permit or municipal concession. The structure, located on public land, was completely enclosed on all four sides and designed not as a simple outdoor area, but as a covered and furnished extension of the bar.
Inside, in fact, the officers found not only the classic tables and chairs, but also a leather sofa, a wooden cabinet, and an independent lighting system, ready to be used as an additional room in the restaurant in its entirety.
In addition to the seizure of the building, a report has been filed against the bar's owner. He is suspected of illegal occupation of public land, damage, and violation of building regulations.
