NAPLES – He had left his home despite being under house arrest and, upon seeing the patrol, attempted to quickly flee. However, the 34-year-old Neapolitan man's escape lasted only a few meters.

Officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station stopped him on Via Sopramuro, at the corner of Vico Molino, during routine checks in the Porta Nolana area . After identification, it emerged that the man was under house arrest for previous convictions for property and personal crimes.

During the search, the officers also found a package containing cocaine on him . The 34-year-old was arrested for evasion and fined for possession of a drug intended for personal use.

I read the article and it seems to me that the situation is very complex. I don't understand how someone could violate house arrest in this way, especially if they have a criminal record. It's risky and senseless behavior.
