Anti-drug operation in Pozzuoli: young man arrested with cocaine and ammunition
Pozzuoli – A major operation by the State Police led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man in Pozzuoli. The man, already known to law enforcement, was found in possession of a significant quantity of drugs, cash, and, alarmingly, ammunition.
The operation is part of the extraordinary territorial control services implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat drug dealing and illegal weapons possession.
During a house search, officers from the Flying Squad and the San Paolo Police Station discovered a veritable "arsenal" hidden in the house:
22 grams of cocaine
a dose of marijuana
49 .45 caliber cartridges
1.750 euros in cash, presumably proceeds from drug dealing
The 22-year-old was arrested on charges of illegal possession of narcotics and illegal possession of ammunition . The operation underscores the law enforcement's ongoing commitment to combating criminal activity that threatens community safety.

It's important that the police do their job to ensure public safety, but we also need to ask ourselves why so many young people are involved in these activities. More education and support for young people is needed.
