Security raid in the heart of Neapolitan nightlife. Yesterday evening, a massive operation consisting of State Police, Guardia di Finanza, Local Police, and staff from the Naples Central Health Authority combed the busiest streets in the Vomero neighborhood , from San Martino to Via Scarlatti, passing through Via Giordano, Via Falcone, and Piazza Medaglie d'Oro and Piazza Vanvitelli.
The operation, ordered by the Naples Police Headquarters , aimed to strengthen controls in areas with a high concentration of nightclubs. During the checks, 46 people were identified, eight of whom were already known to law enforcement, and 19 vehicles were checked, resulting in one violation of the Highway Code.
Eight commercial establishments were also investigated. Significant irregularities were discovered for some of the owners, resulting in administrative fines totaling approximately €3. In one case, serious hygiene and sanitation deficiencies led to the immediate suspension of business.
The security raid in Naples seems like a good thing, but I don't know if it's enough to stop the security problem. There are many nightclubs that don't follow the rules, and people need to be careful.
