For the first time Assomusica, the association that brings together the organizers and producers of live music shows in Italy, will be official supporter of the Tenco Prize, the most prestigious festival dedicated to Italian singer-songwriter music. From The 23 25 October, Ariston Theater in Sanremo host three extraordinary evenings between music, memory and great protagonists, with prizes and awards to the voices that have marked the history of Italian song.
The theme of this edition, “With memory”, will lead a rich program of concerts, meetings and events spread throughout Sanremo starting from 22 October, with the aim of exploring the power of music as a tool for identity, cultural heritage and collective memory.
"Supporting the Tenco Prize means investing in the quality and future of Italian live music.", declares Charles Parodi, President of Assomusica. "The Tenco represents the most authoritative initiative dedicated to songwriting in Italy, and collaborating with it is a source of great pride for us. Assomusica and its members have always shared the values that the Tenco Club has promoted since 1974 and are committed to ensuring that the Songwriting Awards receive the visibility, recognition, and prestige they deserve."
With this support, Assomusica and Tenco Award inaugurate a collaboration that unites the world of music production with that of culture and authorship, in the name of a common vision: the live music as a cultural and collective asset.
