Investigations have revealed that today's attack was not an isolated incident: according to what has emerged, the 37-year-old would have engaged in violent and threatening behavior against the woman since last December, even though the victim had never found the courage to file a complaint.
After the arrest, the Carabinieri immediately activated the Protection protocol for victims of gender-based violence, ensuring protection and support to the woman. The man was instead transferred to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, available to the judicial authority.
