The inaugural screening is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at the cinema The Space of Naples and will be reserved for hundreds of secondary school students in the region.
The students will be welcomed by the director and actor Giovanni Esposito together with co-star Susy Del Giudice, supported by the councilor Lucia Fortini and from the top of the Film Commission, Titta Fiore and Maurizio GemmaThis event confirms the institution's commitment to bringing quality cinema to young people, with over 3.000 students already booked for screenings scheduled for October.
The film, presented at the 42th Turin Film Festival and released in theaters last May ( National preview at Maximall Pompeii, review here), stands out for its ability to realistically and courageously describe the social emergencies of our suburbs. A narrative that goes beyond the narrative itself but stimulates reflection and critical thinking, as envisioned by the project, which, after each screening, includes opportunities for discussion with experts in image education.

Clarity on distribution: no Prime Video, Netflix, or RaiPlay
In the last few hours, several agencies and websites have reported that the film would be available on streaming platforms, particularly Prime Video and, according to some sources, also on Netflix and even RaiPlay.
We wanted to verify the news directly and, by contacting the director Giovanni Esposito and actress Susy Del Giudice, both they categorically denied this information.
The film is currently not available on Prime Video, Netflix, or RaiPlay. Contrary to what some newspapers and news agencies have erroneously reported, it will likely be available on some streaming platforms in the future, but not yet.
A key clarification that helps provide the public with accurate information and avoid confusion. While waiting to find out what the next official distribution channels will be, the fact remains that "Black" has already managed to conquer the public and critics, establishing itself as a work that should be seen and valued for its courage and uniqueness.

I read the article and it seems interesting. I like the fact that the film addresses social emergencies, but I wonder if students will understand the message. It's important to have a good discussion after the screening.
