Naples – A serious case of violence against a minor once again undermines the belief in young people and their increasingly violent behavior. Yesterday, the State Police executed a pre-trial detention order against a 20-year-old Neapolitan man, under investigation for sexual assault, assault, and possession and distribution of child pornography.
The provision, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office - IV Section Investigations, Gender Violence and Protection of the Vulnerable, coordinated by the Deputy Prosecutor Raffaello Falcone represents the outcome of a complex investigative activity conducted by the Flying Squad Neapolitan under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the young man—whose identity has not been released to protect the victim—started a relationship with an underage girl, later threatening to share sexually explicit photos and videos to force her to have sex.
The investigations conducted by the investigators also revealed that the suspect, on several occasions, had given third parties part of the video material recorded during his sexual relations with the minor, further aggravating his situation.

When the 20-year-old learned that she had started another relationship, he began threatening her, even committing sexual assault. Furthermore, on one occasion he allegedly shared some videos via chat with the minor's new boyfriend.
The precautionary measure encompasses a serious and complex body of evidence, constructed through witness testimony, digital analysis, and technical evidence. The investigation remains ongoing to determine any further responsibilities or involvement.
The case is now under investigation by the investigating magistrate, while the victim has been placed under protection and psychological support, as required by the protocols for the protection of child victims of abuse.
