The sixteen-year-old daughter of Salvatore Ocone, the man arrested for the double homicide of his wife and son in Paupisi, in the province of Benevento, remains in serious condition but has shown slight improvement.
This is what was announced in the new clinical bulletin released by the Neuromed Institute in Pozzilli, where the young woman is hospitalized: “The clinical and neurological conditions remain stable in their severity.

The girl was seriously injured in the attack that occurred at dawn on September 30th at the family home in Paupisi. Her mother was killed by rocks, while her fifteen-year-old brother was found dead. After the tragic incident, Ocone fled and was arrested in Molise; he is now in Campobasso prison.
Autopsies on the victims will be held in the next few days in Benevento, as ordered by the Prosecutor's Office, while the young woman remains under close medical monitoring to assess any progressive improvement in her condition.

The girl's condition seems to have improved somewhat, but it remains a serious situation. I hope the doctors can do everything they can to help her, because it's a sad story and difficult for all of us to accept.
