Torre Annunziata – The investigation is widening into the attempted murder that occurred this morning in Torre Annunziata, where a Nigerian citizen was seriously injured in circumstances that are still unclear.
After arresting a 39-year-old Moroccan man on serious suspicion of the crime, investigators have also closed the loop on a Ukrainian woman accused of participating in the attack.
According to what was reconstructed by the agents of the Police Station of Torre Annunziata, it was precisely the viewing of the video surveillance footage that revealed the woman's role: she was filmed while taking part in the attack against the victim, and then quickly moved away and became untraceable.

The hunt for the suspect lasted only a few hours. This evening, the police managed to track her down and arrest her. The woman was then taken into custody by the Judicial Police and, following the completion of the standard investigations, transferred to the Naples Secondigliano prison, where she will remain pending a sentencing hearing before the judicial authorities.
The investigation, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office, remains open to clarify the motive and exact circumstances of the violent incident that bloodied the morning in Oplonti. Meanwhile, the victim—a Nigerian citizen—is hospitalized with injuries deemed serious.
