Naples - Despite having been under house arrest since last March, boss Salvatore Percich, a key figure for the Mazzarella clan in the Spanish Quarters due to his ties to the Buonerba Camorra family, the "long-haired" ones from Forcella, did not hesitate to arm himself and his underage son in a vendetta of family honor.

That is, punishing with death the daughter's young boyfriend, both minors, who had shared intimate videos and photos of the girl among his friends. The young IC, who will soon turn 18, was also a loyal follower of hers.

But for the 46-year-old, the distribution of those videos was a shame that needed to be washed away with blood. He was arrested last March at the port of Casamicciola with several doses of pink cocaine, the so-called rape drug, and other amounts of pure cocaine, and was placed under house arrest.

However, on the evening of September 15th Salvatore Perchich the so-called Sasy had decided to carry out his family revenge. Percich - identified as the instigator and material executor - would have personally led the punitive expedition together with an underage relative of his and a third man not yet identified.

A scooter opened fire on IC. But the attack failed: the 17-year-old was only grazed by the bullets, while one of them hit his friend, Umberto Catanzaro, a 23-year-old amateur soccer player who was with him in the car, in the abdomen. The young man is still hospitalized for serious injuries.

IC's reaction was swift. Just an hour after the attack, the 17-year-old allegedly took revenge by wounding his peer LL, believing him to be one of the three participants in the attack against him. However, this was not the case, as the injured boy had been late for his appointment with the boss due to a scooter problem.

The investigation: from hospital wiretaps to the role of minors

The investigative breakthrough came from wiretaps conducted at the hospital where Catanzaro was admitted. The Carabinieri, also analyzing video surveillance footage, reconstructed the entire incident.

In addition to Percich and his minor relative, two other minors under 17 were also arrested. Despite arriving late at the ambush, they are accused of complicity in the crime. Also arrested was Anna Nesa, LL's 20-year-old girlfriend, who allegedly hosted the raid participants at a B&B, allowing them to change clothes.

LL, previously detained for escaping from a community, is not being held because he is already in prison. The investigation paints an alarming picture of a feud where wounded honor and personal relationships are intertwined with local criminal dynamics, drawing more and more young people into a spiral of incurable violence.
