For the first time , Assomusica , the association that brings together organizers and producers of live music events in Italy, will be an official supporter of the Tenco Prize , the most prestigious event dedicated to Italian songwriting. From October 23 to 25 , the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo will host three extraordinary evenings of music, memory, and great performers, with prizes and awards for the voices that have marked the history of Italian song.
The theme of this edition, “With Memory” , will guide a rich programme of concerts, meetings and events spread throughout Sanremo starting from 22 October , with the aim of exploring the power of music as a tool of identity, cultural heritage and collective memory.
“Supporting the Tenco Award means investing in the quality and future of Italian live music ,” says Carlo Parodi , President of Assomusica . “The Tenco Award represents the most authoritative initiative dedicated to singer-songwriter music in Italy, and collaborating with it is a source of great pride for us. Assomusica and its members have always shared the values that the Tenco Club has promoted since 1974 and are committed to ensuring that the Awards dedicated to singer-songwriter music receive the visibility, recognition, and prestige they deserve.”
With this support, Assomusica and the Tenco Prize inaugurate a collaboration that unites the world of music production with that of culture and authorship, under the banner of a shared vision: live music as a cultural and collective asset.
