Two hundred kilograms of special waste were seized by the Carabinieri of Mirabella Eclano, in the province of Avellino, during a series of targeted environmental checks on the territory. The operation is part of the surveillance plan established by the prefect of Avellino, Rossana Riflesso, in close collaboration with the Prosecutor's Office headed by Domenico Airoma.
The military intercepted a truck loaded with materials considered special waste, which did not have the necessary transport permits.

It's a serious matter that special waste exists without permits, but I wonder if the controls are truly effective. Citizens need to be better informed about the risks and potential penalties.
