Battipaglia – First the threats, then the flames. A pizzeria in Battipaglia was set on fire after the owner received extortion demands. The incident was shed light on an investigation coordinated by the Salerno Prosecutor's Office, which led to the execution of a precautionary measure against a man accused of attempted extortion and arson.
This morning, State Police officers executed the order issued by the investigating judge of the Salerno Court, which placed the suspect under house arrest.
