Illegally sold meat, dirty restaurants, and widespread checks. This is the outcome of the latest operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the NAS in Salerno, who, together with colleagues from the local company and technicians from the ASL, discovered an illegal trade in food products and numerous irregularities in the restaurant sector.
In the capital, the military stopped a street meat vendor who was operating without any authorization.

A restaurant was closed due to serious health and hygiene deficiencies and structural issues: dirty kitchens, worn equipment, and general conditions well below minimum standards. At the same time, the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate began investigations to determine the possible presence of illegal workers.

In total, including seizures, closures, and fines, the fines amount to approximately €30. This operation further confirms the NAS's commitment to ensuring food safety and compliance in a sector that directly impacts public health.
