A new blow to the heart of the environment comes from Casapesenna, in the Caserta area. In the locality CoveCarabinieri from the San Cipriano d'Aversa station discovered a vast illegal landfill hidden within an abandoned agricultural plot. The operation, part of a targeted operation to combat the dumping and uncontrolled storage of waste, led to the seizure of the entire area and the launch of investigations to identify whoever turned the land into a waste dump.
