Caserta– From hate speech online to stashed knives at home, a disturbing trend of violent radicalization emerged from the investigations that yesterday led the State Police to execute a community placement order for a 16-year-old minor, resident in the province of Caserta.

The charge, formalized by the investigating judge at the Juvenile Court of Naples, is extremely serious: propaganda and incitement to crime for reasons of racial discrimination, a crime provided for by Article 604 bis of the Criminal Code.

Incitement to violence on Telegram channels

The young man was not a simple user, but an active administrator of several Telegram channels. From this position of influence, according to investigations by the Naples and Caserta DIGOS, the 16-year-old managed the systematic dissemination of aberrant content.

The chats, coordinated by the Naples Juvenile Prosecutor's Office and monitored with the support of the Central Directorate of Prevention Police, were a melting pot of anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial, and explicit incitement to discrimination.

The gravity of the gesture lies not only in the propaganda, but also in the direct call to action. In several posts, the suspect openly incited other users to commit "violent actions" targeting Jewish people and to organize veritable "punitive expeditions" against their "black" peers.

The precedent: Nazi weapons and symbols

What makes the scenario even more alarming is the connection between online hate and physical threats. The 16-year-old had already been targeted by investigators last summer.

A search of his home had led to the discovery of material confirming the dangerous nature of the young man's ideology: knives, axes, and numerous drawings depicting swastikas and other Nazi symbols.

The placement order was necessary to halt this escalation, which combines virtual propaganda with the disturbing possession of real weapons, highlighting the concrete risk that calls for violence could translate into action.
