Caserta - A reception center for minors transformed into a drug dealing hub. This is the serious accusation involving two seventeen-year-old Tunisians, residents of a community in Portico di Caserta, arrested by the Carabinieri on the morning of Sunday, October 26th.
The reaction was violent, so much so that the officers were forced to resort to forceful measures. The patrol car was called following a report of a fight that had broken out inside the facility. On site, the Carabinieri attempted to calm things down and carry out routine checks, but the two young men immediately became aggressive and hostile.
During the search, damning evidence was found in their possession: two doses of cocaine, weighing a total of 1,4 grams, a precision scale—clearly used for packaging drugs—400 euros in cash, and pepper spray.

At that point, the situation escalated. One of the two minors attacked the officers in a desperate attempt to escape. His partner, apparently calmer, vented his anger once he was put in the patrol car: he violently kicked the rear window, shattering it into a shrapnel of shrapnel.
There was therefore no room for leniency. The Carabinieri neutralized the resistance, handcuffed the two 17-year-olds, and transferred them to the Colli Aminei juvenile detention center in Naples, where they were held.
The doors of the juvenile justice system are now opening for the two young Tunisians, who should have found a place of redemption in the community, accused of resisting a public official, damage and, above all, possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
