The man, together with his wife, was arrested by the Guardia di Finanza Torre Annunziata, Castellammare di Stabia, pursuant to a house arrest order issued by the GIP at the request of the Oplonti Prosecutor's Office.

This fraud ended with the intervention of the Guardia di Finanza, exposing a scam that had deceived doctors and institutions for two decades.
