Castellammare - Vincenzo D'Alessandro, son of Luigi and therefore nephew of the deceased godfather Michele D'Alessandro, has been held in the Nisida juvenile prison since this morning.
He was arrested this morning in the Scanzano neighborhood. A precautionary measure was issued against him to increase his probation because he had repeatedly violated the provisions.
The young scion of the Scanzano family was a familiar face to law enforcement not only because of his surname but also because he was involved in the sordid gang rape of a 12-year-old girl near the Terme di Stabia in 2018.

After several years in the community, he was released. But he had legal obligations, such as going to work, which he failed to do on at least four occasions, and returning home by 4:22 PM. This requirement, too, had been violated several times.
He will now have to serve another four years in prison for the conviction he received in the trial for the gang rape of the girl.

It's strange how such things can happen in a society that's supposed to protect young people. Vincenzo's situation makes us reflect on how complicated the legal system is and how enforcement measures don't always work as they should.
