High impact operation in the area of Capodimonte, where the Carabinieri and local police have joined forces for a vast territorial control activity aimed at combating violations of the Highway Code and dangerous driving behaviour.
The operation, concentrated along Via Miano and surrounding streets, led to the identification of 101 people, the inspection of 60 motorcycles and 41 cars, and the verification of 23 minors. The toll is heavy: ten motorcycles seized, fifteen administrative stops, and six licenses revoked pending suspension.
The total fines reached 44.

During the checks, officers also focused on the safety of minors: one driver was fined with the immediate revocation of his license for transporting a child held in the arms of the front passenger. A grossly irresponsible act that could have resulted in tragedy.
The operation, conducted by the Carabinieri of Capodimonte Together with the operational and mobile unit and the officers of the Stella unit and the Territorial Intervention Group of the Local Police, it confirms the synergy between law enforcement agencies and the desire to ensure greater safety on the streets of Naples, in a high-traffic area often the scene of accidents and violations.

The operation in Capodimonte appears to have had a significant impact, but I believe more checks are needed in other areas of Naples as well. Road safety is important, not only there, but also in other streets and areas.
