Naples – It looked like a common scooter breakdown, one of many along Via Leonardo Bianchi in the Chiaiano neighborhood. But what was supposed to be a simple cry for help turned into an arrest for drug dealing.
The Carabinieri of the Vomero company's operational unit arrested a 29-year-old Neapolitan man with no criminal record, a bartender by profession, who was found in possession of pre-packaged drugs ready for sale.
According to the military's reconstruction, the young man had broken down with his moped when a patrol approached to offer him assistance.

The incident prompted the police to extend their searches to the 29-year-old's home, where the surprise became a certainty. Inside, the Carabinieri found 80 grams of marijuana and 40 grams of hashish, already divided into doses, as well as precision scales and €770 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The man, considered above suspicion in the neighborhood and with no criminal record, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. After the usual formalities, he was released to the judicial authorities and is awaiting trial.

This article is very interesting, but I wonder how it's possible that a normal person like a bartender could be involved in drug dealing. The situation is very strange and makes one reflect on the social context.
