Today, Rosita Giorgetti turned 18, becoming an adult, with full legal capacity and legal, personal, and political autonomy. These are the rights and duties of an adult, whereas—unfortunately—reality, over the past year, has consecrated the most beautiful gift of becoming a mother to a beautiful baby girl, simultaneously taking away her young partner and the little girl's father, Samuel Tafciu', who will never again be able to share a single moment of their beloved and cherished family.
A tragedy of enormous proportions, whose echo reached the other side of the world, unfortunately took its toll on that dramatic November 18th a year ago, when three lives were shattered, killed in the explosion of the illegal fireworks factory where they were forced to work illegally and without any protection.

It's sad that on a festive day like a birthday, there's so much sadness and pain. Life is unfair sometimes, especially for those who must cope with such a great loss. I hope Rosita can find the strength to move forward.
