Far West Afragola: the underground feud that is spreading terror throughout the city continues unabated.
The Camorra war for criminal control, sparked by the power vacuum left by the arrest of the historic clans, has escalated dramatically in the last few hours, transforming the city streets into a veritable "Wild West."
Less than twenty hours after the bloody ambush in front of a bar on Via Sportiglione, which left three young people on the asphalt with gunshot wounds, last night the Carabinieri of the Casoria Company responded urgently to Traversa Murillo Fatigati.
Here, in what appears to be a clear act of defiance and intimidation, unknown assailants fired a volley of bullets at the exterior walls of a house. The alarm was raised by the sound of multiple shots.
Although no injuries were reported, the scene that presented itself to the military was shocking: forty shell casings of various calibers were found, an arsenal of evidence that testifies to the escalation of violence.
The previous ambush: three wounded and fifteen shots fired
Investigators do not exclude a direct link between last night's action and the ambush that took place the previous evening, shortly before midnight, near the Caffetteria del Parco di Sportiglione Street.

Pozzuoli, Andrea Loffredo ambushed: gunman arrested
A Civil Protection "ghost" off-road vehicle used to transport drugs has led to seven arrests between Benevento and Avellino.
The bullets struck three young men: Nicola Bassolino, 18, who was hit in the right shoulder; Antonio Patriciello, 28, who was wounded in the abdomen; and Federico Moccia, 18, who was hit in the neck. Bassolino and Patriciello are already known to law enforcement, while Moccia has a clean criminal record. The first two were transported to Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, the third to San Giovanni di Dio Hospital in Frattamaggiore.
Hunting the same gunslingers?
The investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office and with the support of the Dda of Naples, are proceeding at a rapid pace. The Carabinieri of the Afragola station, under the command of Lieutenant Raimondo Semprevivo, and the military of the Casoria mobile radio unit are trying to unravel a dynamic that, at this moment, appears extremely complex.
At the site of the first ambush, numerous shell casings and bullets embedded in the building's pillars were found. The acquisition of images from city surveillance cameras and interviews with witnesses—who reportedly provided fragmentary versions—are at the heart of the investigative efforts.
Despite the magistrates' utmost secrecy, the most likely hypothesis remains that of a settling of scores between emerging criminal groups, attempting to gain a foothold in the territory by taking advantage of the weakness of the historic Moccia clan, whose influence is now considered a faded shadow of the past. The high number of shell casings found in Traversa Murillo Fatigati is an ominous and unmistakable sign: the challenge is open and violent.
