Shortly thereafter, still in the town center, on Via Roma, officers caught two men, aged 48 and 35, both already known to law enforcement, attempting to sell counterfeit cigarettes to passersby. They also found 217 additional packets of foreign-produced tobacco in their possession, which were immediately seized. They were also reported. Overall, the patrol led to the identification of thirty people and the inspection of eleven vehicles, two of which were seized and one impounded. Three traffic violations were also reported.
