Turin – Juventus is back in UEFA's sights. After the well-known events that have tangled the Bianconeri's sporting and legal affairs in recent years, it's now the turn of Financial Fair Play.
The Nyon supervisory body has in fact opened proceedings against the company for an alleged breach of the financial parameters relating to the three-year period 2022/2023–2024/2025.

Juventus itself made this known in its financial report as of June 30, 2025, which states that "the Group has received notification from UEFA of the initiation of proceedings for the potential overrun of the same for the three-year period."

The outcome of the investigation is expected in spring 2026, and will be determined taking into account the club's economic and financial prospects for the current and subsequent years.

Possible sanctions but no sporting alarm

Continassa, however, seems calm. The club emphasizes that any consequences of the proceedings should not cause any sporting disruptions.
"It could give rise to a possible financial penalty," the document states, "of a presumably insignificant amount, as well as possible sporting restrictions, such as limitations on the registration of new players in UEFA competition lists."

According to initial assessments, this would therefore be a more formal than substantive warning, a signal of caution rather than a real blow like the one that had previously devastated Juventus' accounts.

Shareholders' meeting and new board of directors are coming soon.

On the corporate front, a crucial event is approaching: the shareholders' meeting on November 7, the eve of the Turin derby.

The new members of the Board of Directors will be appointed at that meeting.
The list presented by Exor, the majority shareholder with 65,4% of the capital, includes Antonio Belloni, Gianluca Ferrero, Guido de Boer, Damien Comolli, Laura Cappiello, Fioranna Vittoria Negri, Kerstin Andrea Lutz, Diva Moriani, and Diego Pistone, with Gianluca Ferrero proposed as chairman of the new board of directors.

Tether Investments, which holds an 11,5% stake, has instead presented a shorter list: Francesco Garino and Zachary Lyons.

Not surprisingly, Maurizio Scanavino, the outgoing CEO, was absent, as his term will conclude on November 7th.

In his final assessment, Scanavino recalled his three-year tenure at the helm of the club as a period of "complex challenges and resilient successes":

"The goal was clear: to embark on a journey based on economic sustainability and sporting competitiveness. With the support of the owners and talented colleagues, we faced difficult times with determination. I will take unique emotions with me and I look to Juventus' future with confidence."

Tudor looks to Como: Vlahovic leads, Bremer sidelined

On the technical front, meanwhile, Igor Tudor is working at Continassa with his mind set on the away match in Como, where Juve will return to the pitch chasing a victory for the first time since September 13th.

The Croatian coach, after reuniting with his internationals, has begun testing his first tactical moves. Bremer's absence pushes for a defense with Rugani in the center, flanked by Gatti and Kelly, while Kalulu and Cambiaso are expected to operate on the flanks.
In midfield, space will be given to the Locatelli–Thuram tandem, while up front Vlahovic appears to have the advantage over Openda and David, supported by Conceição and Yildiz.

Juventus, therefore, faces a new transition phase. Against this backdrop, a changing management structure and a UEFA investigation that—albeit without immediate alarm—has brought the club back into the international spotlight.

On the pitch, however, the priority remains to find consistency in results and consolidate Tudor's technical project.

While waiting for the club's financial fate to be clarified in spring 2026, Juventus is trying to look ahead: between sustainability, reconstruction, and the usual, eternal pursuit of victory.
