In the early hours of the morning, law enforcement officials implemented the orders of the National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor and the Naples Public Prosecutor. All assets connected to the club's economic activity have been placed under the control of judicial administrators.

To explain the details of the operation, a high-level press conference is underway at the Naples prosecutor's office. The public prosecutor, the national anti-mafia prosecutor, and the Naples police commissioner will be speaking at the conference, demonstrating the importance and sensitivity of the operation.

An unprecedented case

Juve Stabia's operation represents one of the rare cases in Italy of a football club being hit by such a measure. The operation confirms the authorities' commitment to combating mafia infiltration in the world of sport, a sector considered particularly sensitive and strategic for money laundering and territorial control.

The measure comes after months of investigations that have reportedly gathered sufficient evidence to demonstrate the influence of organized crime on society.
