Langella, president of Juve Stabia: "The accusations don't concern the club, but third parties."

Castellammare - Andrea Langella, currently a 48% shareholder, waited over thirty hours after the judicial and media earthquake that hit Juve Stabia to respond.

"I have never personally managed or served on the board of directors of SS Juve Stabia Srl. I was its "patron" as a reference shareholder for approximately six years. I currently hold a 48% stake in the share capital. Since the beginning of this year, the shareholding structure has expanded with the entry of Brera Holding Public Limited Company, a publicly traded US company, which acquired a 52% stake in the share capital," said Andrea Langella, president of Juve Stabia Srl, in a statement.

The Naples Court's Preventive Measures Section has ordered the Juve Stabia football club into receivership for alleged mafia infiltration. Today, following yesterday's order, the Prefect issued 11 anti-mafia bans against all private companies that managed services surrounding the football club.

"Naturally, in conjunction with the entry of the new majority shareholder, the administrative body was renewed, with the appointment of two new directors (Chartered Accountant Gennaro Fusco and American manager Daniel Joseph McCloy), who joined Mr. Filippo Polcino, already sole director," Langella explains. "The only corporate position I have held—since February 2023—has been that of special attorney delegated to merely represent the club before the FIGC and other sports institutions.

I have examined the decree of submission to preventive judicial administration adopted by the Court of Naples - Prevention Measures Section on October 13, 2025 and, although I am not a lawyer, it seems to me that the criticisms made against the company refer exclusively to collaborators and suppliers of external and unrelated services (commercial establishments that sell stadium tickets, drinks vending machines at the stadium, ambulance service assigned to the stadium, etc.).

Having never been involved in the day-to-day management of the company, I did not enlist even one of the suspects mentioned in the decree."

"As emerges from the preventive measure, the shareholders and current management of SS Juve Stabia 1907 are not even suspected of being connected to mafia or criminal circles," he adds. "In fact, the Public Prosecutor of Naples, the National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor, and the Police Chief did not specifically propose the seizure of the shares or the company, but rather merely the "preventive" intervention of two judicial administrators tasked with neutralizing the risk of criminal infiltration. The Court of Naples accepted the proposal, adopting the preventive measure of merely appointing judicial administrators for a period of one year."

"I was very surprised, moreover, that the provision does not even acknowledge the entry of the new American majority shareholder and, above all, the fact that he appointed two new members (out of three) of the board of directors, in office only from January 1, 2025.

Nonetheless, I declare that I fully support the objectives of the preventive administrative measure, thanks to which I became aware of the judicial authorities' suspicions regarding certain suppliers and external collaborators of SS Juve Stabia Srl, and—as a shareholder—I intend to support the mission of the judicial administrators, urging the termination of all supply or collaboration relationships with suspicious companies and individuals," he concludes. "Finally, I announce that I will request an urgent convocation of the shareholders' meeting so that all initiatives to be taken in relation to the decree and the corporate bodies are shared by the entire company."
