NapoliCommuters and travelers are warned: Naples station Central will be affected by important scheduled maintenance work that will cause significant changes to train circulation on two consecutive weekends between October and November. The changes will affect both the regional trains Trenitaliaboth long-distance trains, including Intercity and Frecciarossa.
The interventions will take place on the following days: Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October 2025 and Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November 2025.
The disruption will particularly affect regional trains operating on crucial routes for Campania and inter-regional mobility, including:
Naples Central Station – Villa Literno – Formia – Rome
Naples – Salerno/Sapri/Cosenza
Naples – Eboli
Naples – Caserta
For these connections, timetable changes and total or partial cancellations of some journeys are foreseen.
