Candida (Avellino) – Tragedy just outside the town: a young wolf was found dead on the side of the provincial road, a few hundred meters from the town center. The animal was reportedly struck by a passing car late yesterday evening, killing her instantly. The carcass was found this morning by passersby who immediately alerted the authorities.
The Carabinieri and the staff of the Local Health Authority intervened on site Avellino, who after the initial health checks proceeded to recover the animal.
