Il mural of Maradona ai Spanish Neighborhoods, a symbol of identity and a destination for thousands of tourists and fans, remains currently closed to the public. Following a protest by the owner of the area, who blocked access following the seizure of several carts and two commercial establishments by the Municipal Police, the City of Naples is working to find a way out.
"We are working on the technical solution, a solution that is not simple because it is a phenomenon that arose spontaneously, with great passion on the part of everyone, but which had never been regularized", explained the mayor Gaetano Manfredi on the sidelines of an event in the city.
