MELITO DI NAPOLI – Despite his young age, he ran a small drug dealing operation in the heart of the city. An 18-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, was arrested last night by officers from the Giugliano-Villaricca Police Station on charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
During a check in Corso Europa, the police noticed the young man handing over a small package in exchange for money.

The search led to the discovery of 29 doses of cocaine (19 grams), 23 packages of hashish (45 grams) and 33 bags of marijuana (41 grams), all packaged and ready for sale.
The 18-year-old was taken to the police station and then transferred to prison, pending the decision of the judicial authorities.
The operation is part of a plan to combat small-scale drug dealing implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters in the municipalities of the northern hinterland, where an increase in illegal drug-related activities has been recorded in recent months.
