Weekend of extraordinary checks at Mergellina, the beating heart of Neapolitan nightlife. The State Police has intensified its presence in the chalet area and in Largo Sermoneta, as part of the prevention and security activities organized by the Police Headquarters of Napoli to ensure order and legality in the busiest areas of the city.
Officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue identified a total of 223 people, 57 of whom were already known to law enforcement, and checked 57 vehicles.

During the operations, three drivers were reported for driving without a license, a repeated offense over the past two years that led to the matter being reported to the judicial authorities. The checks are part of a broader surveillance plan implemented by the State Police to curb illegal activity related to nightlife and ensure greater safety for citizens.
