An improvised escape, a race through the streets of Mondragone and yet another arrest. A 63-year-old, already under house arrest for property crimes, ended up in trouble again after being caught by the police of the Territorial Department while riding an electric scooter in the city center, despite the restrictive measure that required him to stay at home.
At the sight of the patrol, the man attempted to escape, pushing the motorcycle at full speed and forcing the officers of the Mobile Radio Section to chase him for several hundred meters.

Investigations revealed that the man, serving a combined sentence of 7 years and 8 months in prison, was a repeat offender: he had already been reported thirteen times for evasion. A long series of violations that did not seem to stop him, at least until this latest arrest. By order of the judicial authorities, the man was returned to his home to await trial under the fast-track procedure.

This article is about a man who continues to break the law, despite being arrested multiple times. It's interesting to see how justice tries to stop him, but he continues to do what he wants. I wonder if there are better solutions.
