The operation is part of a wider control activity carried out by the Carabinieri of the company Napoli Bagnoli, with the support of the Operational Intervention Company of the Campania Regiment. During the night, the soldiers combed the streets of Fuorigrotta, identifying dozens of people and combing through several premises.
During the checks, a 45-year-old Indian citizen was arrested on Via Giulio Cesare. He was subject to a pending criminal prosecution order from the Criminal Enforcement Office of the Court of Naples. He faces two years in prison for aggravated theft and personal injury. A 46-year-old Romanian man was also reported during the same operation after being caught attempting to steal personal belongings from two passersby.
