The complaint – they were on the phone and did not intervene immediately to stop the attack. This is what happened last October 21st at a middle school in Naples, where a ten-year-old boy was the victim of a serious bullying incident.
The mother, alerted by the teachers after the incident, rushed to the school and found her son in pain, unable to walk without difficulty. She then called the State Police and took the child to the city's pediatric hospital, where doctors found bruises on his face and a trauma to his testicles.
Assisted by lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani, the woman filed a complaint with the competent police station, stating that the attack occurred after a series of serious insults and that the teachers present in the classroom were distracted by their phones at crucial moments.
"Such violence in schools cannot be tolerated," the lawyers stated. "We need stricter monitoring and effective enforcement of anti-bullying protocols to ensure the safety of minors."
The police have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident and verify any responsibility of school staff.
