Naples – Night of tight controls by the State Police between Piazza BelliniPorta Capuana and the streets connecting them, central nightlife areas that have long been under observation for incidents of petty crime and drug dealing. Officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid patrolled the historic heart of the city for several hours, identifying 125 people, including 21 already known to law enforcement.
The intervention, part of an extraordinary surveillance plan arranged by the Police Headquarters Napoli, aimed to ensure greater safety in the busiest areas during night hours.

For a few hours, the patrol cars restored a sense of order and control in areas where the vibrancy of nightlife often intersects with episodes of degradation and tension. This is a preventative measure that the Police Headquarters intends to repeat in the coming weeks to maintain a high level of awareness and a sense of safety among residents and business owners.
