The fight against drug trafficking in the eastern district of Naples continues unabated.
As part of the extraordinary operations ordered by the Naples Police Headquarters, officers from the San Giovanni-Barra Police Station, with the support of the Dog Squad of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, have completed a new operation aimed at controlling the area.
The discovery in the elevator shaft
The operation took place yesterday evening on Via Villa San Giovanni, inside a building that had been monitored for some time due to reports of suspicious activity.

The material, found belonging to unknown persons, was immediately seized. Law enforcement is now conducting investigations to determine who had access to the area and whether the drugs were intended for retail distribution in the area.

The discovery confirms the State Police's commitment to combating the spread of narcotics in the suburbs of the Campania capital.
The control services, the Police Headquarters explains, "are part of a constant monitoring plan aimed at guaranteeing greater security for citizens and removing space from widespread crime."
