It was a busy night in the historic center, where two very young people were stopped by State Police officers while riding a stolen scooter with a replica pistol on board. The two, aged 14 and 15, both Neapolitan and already known to law enforcement, were reported after a chase through the streets of Piazza Bellini and via Constantinople.
The Kites of the General Prevention Office, engaged in the extraordinary checks ordered by the Police Headquarters of Napoli, they noticed the boys trying to evade a checkpoint, accelerating at the sight of the patrol.

Both minors were charged: the fourteen-year-old for illegal possession of weapons and receiving stolen goods, and the fifteen-year-old for conspiracy to receive stolen goods. After the usual formalities, they were released to their families and will now face charges in Juvenile Court. The scooter, however, was returned to its rightful owner.
