Nola - Over 56.000 liters of diesel fuel, untaxed and without the necessary taxes, were seized by the Guardia di Finanza of the Naples Provincial Command in an operation in Marigliano.
The action, which is part of increased controls against illicit trafficking, also led to the seizure of two vehicles, a tanker, and the reporting of two people.
The raid by the Nola Group's military personnel began with a targeted check of a tarpaulined semi-trailer with Romanian license plates, which was suspiciously parked in a private parking area.
An inspection of the vehicle immediately revealed an abnormal load: 28.

But the biggest surprise was parked nearby: an Italian tanker truck, carrying another 28.000 liters of petroleum product, and a professional pump ready to transfer the fuel from one vehicle to the other.
This scenario leaves little doubt as to the nature of an illegal industrial-scale transshipment operation, aimed at placing "illegal" diesel fuel on the market, on which VAT and excise duties had not been paid, resulting in significant damage to the treasury and unfair competition for honest operators.
At the end of the operations, the Yellow Flames Both the driver of the semi-trailer and the legal representative of the Italian company that owned the tanker have filed reports with the Nola Public Prosecutor's Office. The alleged charges include receiving stolen goods and violating excise tax regulations.

The article is interesting, but some details aren't entirely clear. I'd like to know more about the consequences for those involved and how the enforcement system works in these situations. It's important to understand better.
