According to Federico Costigliola, the regional coordinator for juvenile detention, the escort staff—consisting of only two members—suddenly found themselves in danger of harming themselves and the inmate. Immediate support was therefore requested: State Police officers, the Falcons (Falchi) mobile squad, and other colleagues from the Penitentiary Department responded to the scene, restoring calm and preventing further harm.

The young inmate, bedridden and requiring constant care, is frequently transferred to the hospital for checkups, a situation that creates significant logistical challenges for Nisida staff.
