A textbook theft, organized using work vehicles and inside a high-speed rail construction site. This is what the Carabinieri of the Cerreto Sannita Company discovered, who reported three men—two from Telese Terme and a construction worker—held responsible for the aggravated theft of approximately 30 kilograms of iron bars.
The incident occurred on the Telese Scarl construction site, which is involved in the works for the high-speed railway line in the Solopaca area, in the province of Benevento.

The investigation, launched after the theft was reported, was supported by the analysis of video surveillance footage and testimonies collected on site. The evidence gathered allowed the officers to identify the perpetrators and recover part of the stolen iron, which has already been returned to its rightful owners. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether the group is involved in other similar incidents.
