Tragedy in Naples: this afternoon, a woman died after falling from the terrace of a building in the heart of the historic center.
The tragedy occurred around 13:00 PM in Vico delle Nocelle, a narrow street not far from Via Salvator Rosa, in a densely populated and lively area.
The deadly flight in the narrow alley
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, died after falling from a height of approximately 20 meters. Her body was found in the narrowest part of the alley, where the woman apparently landed after her fatal fall. According to initial reports, the fall occurred directly from the apartment's terrace.
Rescue operations: nothing to be done for the paramedics
The alarm was raised immediately on the scene. Emergency medical services from ASL Napoli 1 Centro responded within minutes of a call from residents who had heard the crash. However, the doctors could only confirm the woman's death, which almost certainly occurred upon impact.
Numerous State Police officers also arrived to secure the scene and begin investigations to shed light on the circumstances of the incident.
