Two lives shattered in silence, two stories of solitude and destiny united by the same epilogue. Vallo di DianoBetween Sala Consilina and Polla, in the province of Salerno, two people were found dead in their homes. In both cases, the deaths were from natural causes, but the circumstances have deeply shocked the local communities.
A Sala Consilina, the person who lost her life was a woman of about seventy, a retired biologist, well-known and respected in the village.

A similar incident occurred in Polla, where a 62-year-old man, also living alone, was found dead in his home. Neighbors, concerned by the man's prolonged silence, also called for help. The arrival of the Carabinieri and medical personnel confirmed that the death was due to natural causes.
